Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Level I & II Trauma ICU position requiring Epic proficiency and prior preceptorship experience preferred.

Details

  • Hospital ICU setting at a Level I & II Trauma facility
  • Night shift schedule: 4x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
  • Patient ratio of 1:2
  • Floating required within the ICU
  • Every other weekend coverage required
  • Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

  • Active LA RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
  • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
  • Preferred certifications: CPI, PALS, and TNCC
  • Prior experience in a Level I or Level II Trauma ICU required
  • Preceptorship experience strongly preferred
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • A supervisor reference dated within the last 12 months is required for consideration
  • A copy of a valid Driver's License is required for consideration
  • Any employment gaps of more than 30 days must be listed and explained

Additional Information

  • First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
  • Scrubs are provided by the facility
  • Up to 5 days of RTO may be requested for this position
  • Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates
  • Former permanent employees of any LCMC facility must have been separated for at least 1 year to be considered
