Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel Occupational Therapist for a hospital-based outpatient rehabilitation clinic with a focus on lymphedema, cognitive evaluation/treatment, and musculoskeletal and neurological diagnoses.

Details

  • Hospital-based outpatient rehabilitation clinic setting
  • Day shift, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (5x8-hour shifts)
  • 13-week contract
  • Daily patient load of 10–11 patients
  • Patient population is primarily adults; adolescent experience preferred
  • Diagnoses treated include lymphedema, cognitive evaluation/treatment, and musculoskeletal and neurological conditions
  • Epic EMR used; experience required
  • No call, weekend, or float requirements; may occasionally cover other sites during low patient census

Requirements

  • Active Michigan OT license required if applicable
  • Current BLS certification (AHA) required
  • Minimum 1 year of OT experience required
  • Prior travel experience required
  • Manual therapy and hand therapy experience required
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • Experience with adult patient populations required; adolescent experience preferred
  • Lymphedema experience preferred

Additional Information

  • Treat a diverse outpatient caseload including lymphedema management, cognitive evaluations and treatment, and a range of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions
  • May be asked to cover other clinic sites during periods of low patient census
