Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position in Florida, requiring at least 1 year of ER experience and AHA certifications including BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIH Stroke Scale.

Details

• Hospital emergency department setting
• 12-hour day shifts, 3 shifts per week (36 hours per week)
• 13-week contract
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Floating required to areas appropriate for skillset, including a nearby sister campus
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active FL RN license or Compact RN license required
• Current AHA certifications required and must be in hand: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Minimum 1 year of ER experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Two doses of COVID-19 vaccine required or an approved declination

Additional Information

• Navy blue scrubs required
• A 15-minute pre-shift huddle is required and is compensated time
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers — no radius requirement
• Former permanent employees must have been separated for at least 90 days before returning as a traveler
