Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PCU/Telemetry position in Ohio, requiring 2 years of experience, Epic proficiency, and the ability to pass a telemetry test.

Details

• Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in a large academic medical center setting
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Patient population includes telemetry-monitored patients requiring progressive care
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active OH or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Telemetry monitoring experience required
• Must be able to pass a facility telemetry test
• Proficiency in IV insertion, medication administration, lab interpretation, patient monitoring, and patient education
• Epic EMR experience required

• Responsibilities include telemetry monitoring, IV management, medication administration, lab review, and patient education
• All time-off requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
• Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
• No break in assignment required between representation changes (excluding Sterile Processing Techs)
