Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room position at a pediatric facility in California, requiring at least one prior travel assignment and the ability to both scrub and circulate.

Details

• Work in the Operating Room of a pediatric hospital setting
• Ideal candidate can both scrub and circulate
• Friday, Saturday, and Sunday schedule
• Night shift, 3x11.5-hour shifts (19:00–07:00)
• No specific EMR/charting system experience required, though Epic is used at the facility

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Current BLS and PALS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of OR RN experience required
• Trauma Level II experience required; Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Academic or similarly sized hospital experience required
• Teaching hospital experience preferred
• At least one prior travel assignment required
• First-time travelers are only considered if they have direct pediatric experience in a Level II hospital
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• 2 professional references required from authority figures (manager, ANM, supervisor, or director)

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside at least 100 miles from the facility — local candidates are not accepted
• All RTO requests require facility approval
