Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Inpatient Rehab RN for a night shift travel contract in Sioux City, IA, requiring at least 1 year of rehab experience and an active IA or compact RN license.
Details
- Inpatient rehabilitation unit within a Level 3 trauma center hospital
- Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week
- 36 or 48 hours per week available
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call responsibilities
- Floating within the same discipline across local campuses may be required
- EMR: Epic
Requirements
- Active IA RN license or compact RN license required
- Current BLS (AHA) certification required
- Mandatory Reporter certification required
- Minimum 1 year of inpatient rehab nursing experience required
- At least 1 completed travel contract preferred
- Valid driver's license required for consideration
- One supervisory reference from within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Skills checklist completed within the past year required for consideration
- Candidates must have a taxable address more than 50 miles from the facility
Additional Information
- Functions as a member of the interdisciplinary team, contributing clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of patient care
- Prior travel nursing experience is preferred, though not required
- Travelers who have been employed by this health system within the past 12 months may not be eligible for this position
- Travelers are required to work 2 of the 3 winter holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's
