Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) for a 13-week Rehab contract in Fort Dodge, IA, primarily in an outpatient setting with some acute care coverage, requiring at least 1 year of PT experience and Epic proficiency.
Details
- Primarily outpatient clinic setting, with 4 days per week in outpatient and 1 day per week in acute care
- Acute care caseload focuses on ortho/neuro patients and safety discharge evaluations
- Opportunity to cover 1–2 acute care weekend shifts during the contract (not required, but welcome)
- Weekend on-call hours, if elected, run Saturday 7:00 AM–12:00 PM and Sunday 7:00 AM–11:00 AM
- May be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses
- Day shift, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Epic EMR; experience required
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of PT experience required; 24 months of recent experience reflected in work history
- Outpatient PT experience required; inpatient experience preferred
- Epic EMR experience required
- Active Iowa PT license required; candidates with a non-Iowa license may be considered if willing and able to apply for Iowa licensure
- Current AHA or ARC BLS certification required
- Valid driver's license required for consideration
- At least one completed travel contract preferred
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include evaluation and treatment across outpatient and acute care settings as a member of the interdisciplinary team
- New orientation begins weekly on Mondays
- Candidates must have a taxable home address more than 60 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible
- A supervisory performance evaluation or professional reference from within the past 2 years is preferred for consideration
- License required if applicable
