Description

American Traveler is hiring a Home Health Occupational Therapist with at least 1 year of experience and Epic proficiency for a position in Fort Dodge, IA requiring an Iowa OT license.

Details

• Home health setting based in Fort Dodge, IA
• Monday through Friday day shift schedule, 8:00 AM start, 40 hours per week
• No weekend or on-call requirements
• Epic EMR used; experience required
• May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses
• Orientation is held every Monday

Requirements

• Active Iowa OT license required; license required if applicable
• Minimum 1 year of OT experience required
• Active Epic EMR experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• At least 1 completed travel contract preferred
• Valid Driver's License required
• One supervisory reference from within 2 years of employment or contract required for consideration
• Candidates must have a taxable address more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates
• Must not have been employed by the facility within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Contribute professional and clinical knowledge to patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team
• A company car is provided for this position
• Travelers are expected to work 2 of the 3 winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's)
• Time-off requests are limited to 1 day during the Thanksgiving and winter holiday periods, regardless of holidays worked
• Skills checklist completed within the past year is required for consideration
