Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week Med/Surg travel assignment in Anderson, IN, working day shifts on an Ortho/Med-Surg unit with a 3:1 patient ratio.
Details
- 21-bed Ortho/Med-Surg unit (3 South) in a hospital setting
- Patient population includes total joint replacement, general surgery, urology surgery, chest pain observation, pancreatitis, osteomyelitis, and cellulitis
- 3:1 nurse-to-patient ratio
- Day shift: 6:45 AM ā 7:15 PM
- 13-week contract
- Floating required to 5 South, a Med/Tele/PCU unit
- Weekend and holiday rotation required; candidates interested in weekends only will be considered
Requirements
- Active Indiana RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand
- BLS certification required (must be AHA-issued)
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
- Valid Nursys license verification required prior to start
- Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
Additional Information
- Two references required for consideration
- Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
- Local candidates are eligible to apply; candidates residing within the facility's radius may qualify at a different pay rate
- COVID vaccination is not required for this position
