Description

American Traveler is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for a 13-week hospital-based outpatient rehab assignment, treating adult patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders on a 4x10 schedule.

Details

Hospital-based outpatient rehabilitation clinic setting
Caseload consists of adult patients presenting with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
Proficiency with completing and interpreting outpatient Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBSS) is preferred
Works alongside a multidisciplinary team including OT and PT
Day shift schedule, 4x10-hour shifts, 8:00am to 6:00pm

Requirements

Valid and unrestricted Speech-Language Pathologist license (license required if applicable)
Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
Experience treating adults in an outpatient setting
2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration

Additional Information

Conduct outpatient evaluations and treatment for adults with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
Perform and interpret Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBSS) as part of dysphagia management
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of OT and PT practitioners
All time-off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
