Description

American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a day-shift travel assignment in Southern California requiring 2+ years of experience and an active CA license.

Details

• Hospital-based Nuclear Medicine unit in an acute care setting
• Day shifts, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM with a 1-hour meal break
• 5x8-hour shift schedule with no call or weekend requirements
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience required
• At least 1 year of experience in an acute care setting required
• Specialty experience within the past 2 years required
• Active, valid CA license required (license required if applicable)
• Cerner EMR experience required
• Must be able to pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam (up to 3 attempts)
• At least one supervisory/director/manager reference from within the past year from a relevant unit required for consideration
• A second professional reference within the past 2 years (may be from a charge nurse, co-worker, or educator) required for consideration

Additional Information

• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as traveling candidates
• No RTO (time off) requests will be approved within the first 2 weeks of the assignment; all RTO requests must be submitted upfront
• Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have been separated for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• First-time travelers are to be discussed with your recruiter regarding eligibility
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained is required for consideration
