Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a night shift travel contract requiring hands-on experience in robotics, neuro, plastics, and ortho surgery, with no first-time travelers considered.
Details
- Hospital Operating Room (OR) setting
- Night shift schedule: 4x10-hour shifts (19:00–07:00)
- Rotating on-call requirement on weekends and one to three late days per schedule
- Weekend requirement applies
- Holiday coverage required
- May float to other surgical specialties
- Robotics, neuro, plastics, and orthopedic surgical cases
- Cardiovascular surgery experience preferred
Requirements
- Active LA RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand
- Current BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
- Minimum 2 years of OR nursing experience required
- Experience required in robotics, neuro, plastics, and orthopedic surgery
- Cardiovascular surgery experience preferred
- Supervisor reference dated within the last 12 months required for consideration
- Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
- Any employment gaps exceeding 30 days must be listed and explained
Additional Information
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
- Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates
- Former permanent employees of any LCMC facility must have been separated for at least 1 year before being eligible to travel with this health system
- RTO is limited to 5 days or fewer for the duration of the contract
