Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring at least 2 years of experience and an active TN or compact RN license, with night shift availability and a 100-mile radius requirement.

Details

• Med/Surg Telemetry unit in a hospital setting
• Patient ratio of 1:7 on the Med/Surg floor
• Night shift schedule: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM (3x12-hour shifts per week)
• 36-hour weekly work commitment
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Floating to other units required as needed
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active TN or compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Current AHA BLS certification required (AHA-issued only)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Two supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Candidates must reside at least 100 miles from the facility to be eligible

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Previous charge nurse experience is preferred
• Orientation begins on Sundays with online computer-based learning (CBLs)
• Travel nurses are expected to actively support nursing student clinical education alongside their regular patient care duties
