Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Step-Down (CPU) position requiring a minimum of 3 years of step-down experience, ACLS certification, and night shift availability.
Details
- Step-down/cardiac progressive care unit (CPU) within a hospital setting
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Every other weekend required
- Holiday coverage required
- 13-week assignment with possibility of extension
- EMR: Cerner (experience preferred)
- Telemetry monitoring and IV starts are part of regular patient care responsibilities
Requirements
- Active GA or Compact RN license required
- Current certifications required: BLS and ACLS
- Minimum 3 years of recent step-down experience required
- Intermediate to advanced fetal monitoring (FM) skills required
- Telemetry experience required
- IV start proficiency required
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred
- Valid Driver's License required for consideration
- Two professional references required for consideration
Additional Information
- Royal blue scrubs are required; scrubs are not provided by the facility
- Minimal to no RTO will be considered for this assignment
- Candidates residing within 30 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position
- Candidates residing within 31–50 miles of the facility are eligible at a local pay rate; local candidates are accepted
