Description
American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for a Labor & Delivery unit requiring at least 1 year of recent acute care L&D experience and a Colorado or compact RN license.
Details
- Work in a hospital Labor & Delivery unit with 29 beds, 4 ORs, 3 PACU bays, 12 antepartum rooms, and 10 triage rooms
- Care for high-risk OB patients with typical procedures including vaginal and c-section deliveries, D&C, hysterectomy, postpartum tubal ligation, cerclage placement, and versions
- Maintain a 2:1 patient ratio
- Use Centricity and GE monitoring equipment
- Chart in Meditech / CPN EMR
- Work night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- 13-week assignment
Requirements
- Active CO or compact RN license required
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
- Intermediate Fetal Monitoring (FM) or AWHONN certification required
- Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital L&D experience required
- Meditech, PACU, and OR experience preferred
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Work independently as a self-starter while supporting fellow team members
- Unit staffed with a mix of RNs, CSTs, charge nurses, and flex staff across day and night shifts
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered for the travel role
