Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg night shift position at an academic medical center in Albany, NY, requiring a minimum of 2 years of recent Med/Surg experience and active Epic EMR proficiency.

• Med/Surg unit within a large academic medical center in Albany, NY
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active NY RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg RN experience required
• Epic EMR experience is required — candidates without Epic experience will not be considered
• All certifications must be issued by AHA or RQI
• Active US Social Security Number required — Canadian SIN not accepted
• Flu vaccine required; only medical exemptions signed by a licensed professional are accepted (personal/religious exemptions are not accepted)
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius and outside the following counties: Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, and Washington — local candidates from these areas are not eligible
• Any requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application
• No blocked scheduling is permitted
• More than 3 call-outs during the contract period may result in termination; makeup shifts must be completed within 6 weeks of the last call-out
• Travel pairs are not accepted for this position
