Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN Charge Nurse for a Neonatal ICU (NICU) travel position requiring prior NICU and leadership experience, working night shifts in California.

Details

• Neonatal ICU (NICU) setting within a hospital environment
• Night shift schedule: 19:00–07:30
• Three 12-hour shifts per week
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• BLS certification required (American Heart Association or Red Cross accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of NICU experience required
• Prior charge nurse or leadership experience required
• Date of birth (DOB) and Social Security Number (SSN) required for consideration

Additional Information

• Serves in a charge nurse capacity within the NICU
• EMR experience may be required — candidates should be prepared to provide relevant EMR background
• De-escalation/Workplace Violence Prevention training (DCI/BVP) required — can be completed via Relias, Healthcare Staffing Hire, or the free CDC NIOSH resource
