Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cath Lab position at a Magnet-designated teaching hospital, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and Epic proficiency.
Details
- Work in the Cath Lab unit of a 186-bed Magnet-designated teaching hospital
- Performs Cardiac Cath, EP Implant and Ablation, and general Cardiology procedures and testing
- Day shift schedule: 4x10-hour shifts (0700–1530)
- On-call required for off-hours, holidays, and weekend rotation with a 30-minute callback requirement
- Epic EMR experience required
- Free parking available on-site
Requirements
- Active RN license (Compact or Connecticut state license) required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab nursing experience required
- Epic EMR proficiency required
- Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
- Flu vaccination is required; declinations are not accepted
- COVID vaccination required; religious or medical exemptions are accepted
- 1 professional reference required for consideration
- Candidates with prior disciplinary actions on their nursing license are not eligible for consideration
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply provided they meet the required experience
- Former permanent staff of this facility must have been separated for at least 2 years before being considered as a traveler
- Up to 7 days of RTO may be approved during the contract
