Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week night shift travel contract on an Acute Neuro Unit, requiring a minimum of 2 years of specialty experience and a GA or compact RN license.
Details
- Acute Neuro Unit (612C) in a hospital setting
- Services include neurosurgery, neurology, ENT surgery, and general surgery
- Patient population includes those recovering from acute illness or surgery, ranging from ambulatory patients requiring limited assistance to bedridden patients requiring total care
- 12-hour night shifts (1900–0730), Sunday through Saturday
- 3 shifts per week, 36 hours per week
- No on-call requirements
Requirements
- Active RN license — GA state or compact license required
- Current AHA certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg or Acute Neuro nursing experience
- Driver's License required for consideration
- Permanent address on file must match Driver's License and RN license information
Additional Information
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates will not be considered
- Former permanent staff returning as travelers must have taken at least a 2-year break from the facility
- Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed upfront — requests cannot be made after an offer is accepted
