Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist to provide imaging support in the OR performing vascular IR procedures, with BLS and ARRT required.

Details

  • Interventional Radiology unit within an academic medical center setting
  • Imaging support role in the OR focused on vascular IR procedures
  • 5x8-hour day shifts, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Rotating call every 4th week
  • 13-week contract

Requirements

  • Current BLS and ARRT certification required
  • VA license required; candidates may be considered with licensure pending if currently licensed in another state (temporary license eligibility applies; standard processing time is approximately 8 weeks)
  • Experience scrubbing and circulating in the OR required
  • Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for this position
  • Two professional references required for consideration
  • Driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
  • License required if applicable

Additional Information

  • Epic EMR experience preferred
  • Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have at least 12 months pass before returning as a traveler
  • Up to 40 hours of RTO available per 13-week contract
  • Candidates may be floated in accordance with their clinical experience
