Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Acute GI Medicine Unit position in Atlanta, GA, requiring a minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg experience and night shift availability.
Details
- Acute GI Medicine Unit within a hospital setting
- 12-hour night shifts (7p–7a), 3 shifts per week
- 13-week contract
- No on-call requirements
Requirements
- Active GA or Compact RN license required
- Required certifications: BLS and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS); ACLS preferred
- Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg experience required
- Driver's License required for consideration
- Any RTO requests must be submitted upfront prior to offer acceptance
Additional Information
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
- Former permanent staff returning as travelers must have a minimum 2-year break before being considered
- First-time travelers are not mentioned as eligible; prior travel experience with the required specialty background is expected
