Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Pediatric ICU (PICU) position requiring a minimum of 18 months of experience, Cerner charting proficiency, and night shift availability.

Details

• Position is based in a pediatric hospital PICU setting
• Night shift schedule: 4x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:30
• Holiday coverage is required; candidates must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Floating within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate hospital is required
• Local candidates are not accepted for this PICU position
• Cerner EMR charting experience is required

Requirements

• Active IN or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS certification required (AHA or RQI accepted)
• Minimum of 18 months to 2 years of PICU RN experience required
• Cerner EMR proficiency required
• Nursing degree from a university accredited by ACEN or CCNE at the time of graduation required

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Former permanent or PRN employees of IU Health must have been away from the organization for at least 12 months before being eligible to apply as a traveler
• Indiana-licensed RNs are not eligible for this PICU position per facility policy; this restriction does not apply to Periop/OR, Allied, or Ambulatory RN roles
• Up to 5 days of RTO may be auto-approved for the duration of the contract
