Description

American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray for evening shifts at a Level I Trauma, 700-bed academic teaching hospital on Staten Island, NY, with a minimum of 1 year of experience and active ARRT and NYS licensure required.

• Smaller campus of a 700-bed Level I Trauma academic teaching hospital in Staten Island, NY
• Performs diagnostic radiography on both adult and pediatric patient populations
• Equipment includes GE and Siemens radiography systems, GE C-Arm, and a newly installed GE radiography ED room
• EMR/imaging systems include Syngo RIS, Siemens Healthineers, Carestream PACS, and Sunrise
• Fluoroscopy experience preferred
• Evening shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• Every other weekend required

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience required; 2 years preferred
• Active RT(R) (ARRT) certification required
• NYS DOH Radiologic Technologist License required if applicable
• AHA BLS certification required
• Two professional references from previous managers required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates living within 60 miles of the facility are eligible to apply but may be subject to a reduced pay rate
• Only AHA-issued BLS certifications are accepted
• Scrubs must be a solid color with matching top and bottom — no patterns; scrubs are not provided by the facility
• Open-toed shoes and excessive jewelry are not permitted; long hair must be tied back and beards must be trimmed for fit testing
• Nail polish that is chipped is not permitted
• Travelers with prior work history at any Northwell or Nuvance Health location will undergo a review process to determine eligibility to return
