Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a SSSU/PACU position requiring strong PACU and pre/post-op skills with a flexible 10-hour or 8-hour shift schedule.

Details

• Hospital-based outpatient services setting
• SSSU/PACU unit covering Day Surgery, Endoscopy Lab, Post Anesthesia Care Unit, Pre-operative Clinic, and conscious sedation for special procedures
• Floating required throughout the entire Outpatient Services area
• Schedule is either four 10-hour shifts or five 8-hour shifts per week
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active WA state or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current certifications required: BLS/BCLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Strong PACU and pre/post-op nursing experience required
• DOB and SSN may be required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform peri-operative patient education and nursing care
• Recognize and respond to post-anesthesia and post-operative complications
• Administer and monitor conscious sedation for special procedures
• COVID-19 vaccine not required for this position
