Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Intermediate Care (IMC) Night Shift position requiring BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications with at least 1-2 years of experience.
Details
- Position is in an Intermediate Care Unit (IMC) within a hospital setting
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 18:30–07:00
- Option to work 36 or 48 hours per week
- Floating is required for this position
- Epic EMR experience preferred
Requirements
- Active NM or Compact RN license currently in hand
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- Minimum 1-2 years of RN experience required
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Additional Information
- Previous travel experience is preferred but check position details regarding first-time traveler eligibility
- Travel pairs or groups will not be accepted for this position
- Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year before being eligible as a traveler
- RTO is limited to no more than 3 days and no RTO will be approved during the first week of orientation
- Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years are required for consideration
