Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical/Surgical position requiring a NM or Compact RN license, with day shifts and flexible scheduling options of 36 or 48 hours per week.

Details

• Hospital Medical/Surgical unit with 32 beds
• Day shift schedule, 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM (3x12-hour shifts)
• Option to work 36 or 48 hours per week
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• 6 weekend shifts required per 6-week period
• Floating required within scope of practice
• No on-call requirements
• Block scheduling considered on a case-by-case basis
• Charting via Epic (experience preferred)

Requirements

• Active NM or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification required; CPI preferred
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Local candidates (within 50 miles) are not accepted
• Former permanent staff must have been separated for at least 1 year before working as a traveler at this facility
• No more than 3 days of RTO will be auto-approved; no RTO during the first week of orientation
• Scrubs of any color are acceptable, provided they do not display a hospital logo
• Travel pairs or groups are not accepted for this position
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years are required for consideration
