Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room position requiring a NM or Compact RN license and at least 1-2 years of OR experience, with on-call responsibilities.
Details
- Work in the Operating Room (OR) of a hospital setting
- Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM)
- 36-hour weekly schedule
- On-call responsibilities required
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active NM or Compact RN license required; pending NM license is acceptable
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum 1-2 years of OR nursing experience required
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
- Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred
- Epic EMR experience preferred
Additional Information
- Travel pairs or groups will not be considered for this position
- Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year before working as a traveler
- No more than 3 days of RTO will be approved for the duration of the contract; no RTO permitted during the first week of orientation
