Description

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a CVICU position requiring ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications with night shift availability and floating requirements.

Details

• Position is in a Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) setting within a hospital environment
• Patient ratios are 1:1 in the CVICU and 1:2-3 when floating to the ICU
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend (2 weekends per month) required
• Floating to the ICU is required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active RN license — TN state license or Compact RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIHSS
• Prior CVICU or cardiovascular critical care nursing experience required

Additional Information

• RTO will not be accommodated during any holiday or holiday week; affected holidays include Valentine's Day, Local Spring Break (3/9–3/15), Easter (4/5), Mother's Day (5/10), Memorial Day (5/22–5/25), Father's Day (6/21), Independence Day (7/3–7/5), Labor Day, Local Fall Break (10/5–10/11), Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day
