Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardio/Neurovascular Med-Surg/Telemetry position requiring dysrhythmia and cardiac drip experience with night shift availability in Alabama.

Details

• 42-bed Cardio/Neurovascular Med-Surg/Telemetry unit in a hospital setting
• High-acuity patient population with cardiac and neurovascular cases
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• Cardiac drip experience required, including Cardizem, Tridil, and Amiodarone
• Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• 36 or 48 hours per week with block scheduling available
• Every other weekend (EOW) required
• Epic EMR in use
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active AL RN license or compact license currently in hand and in good standing (no pending licensure)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• 1–2 years of RN experience with a strong background in high-acuity patients
• Dysrhythmia experience required
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Valid Driver's License and Social Security Card required for consideration
• Flu and COVID vaccinations required (medical and religious exemptions accepted)

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 90 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• Former permanent staff of this facility are ineligible to apply for 10 years following their departure
• RTO of 3–5 days preferred with a maximum of 7 days per 13-week contract
• Compliance documentation is due one week prior to the start date
• Scrub dress code: all navy, or navy bottoms with a white top
