Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with 2+ years of experience for a 13-week contract in an IR unit serving both inpatient and outpatient populations.

Details

  • Interventional Radiology unit performing minimally invasive procedures for inpatient and outpatient populations
  • 4x10-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
  • Alternating weekends with a call rotation

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience
  • BLS and ACLS (AHA only) required
  • ARRT or NMTCB certification required
  • SCRQSA certification required
  • Proficiency with sterile technique required
  • Must be able to properly position patients and perform radiographic examinations
  • Must be familiar with and able to operate all radiographic equipment
  • License required if applicable

Additional Information

  • Responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic images for radiologist interpretation
  • Duties include patient care, supply management, and equipment maintenance
  • Expected to maintain professional standards and participate in continuing education and in-services
