Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Critical Care Float Pool ICU position in Ohio, requiring a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience and proficiency with Epic across a variety of critical care units on night shifts.
Details
- Critical Care Float Pool position within a large academic medical center
- Nurses float across multiple ICU types based on staffing and patient acuity, including Neuro ICU, Surgical ICU, Medical ICU (MICU x2), Cardiology/Diagnostics, CVICU, SICU, and NCCU
- Floating is required within units of equivalent or lower acuity
- Schedule: Night shifts, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
- Epic EMR proficiency required
Requirements
- Active OH RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
- Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
- Proficiency with Epic EMR required
- IV start, telemetry, and ventilator management experience required
- Previous travel nursing experience strongly preferred
Additional Information
- All time-off and scheduling requests must be disclosed at the time of initial consideration
- Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
- Candidates who have previously worked at this facility do not need a 30-day break between assignments to change representation
