Description
American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with extensive OR experience for a night shift travel assignment at a large Level I trauma center.
Details
- Large Level I trauma center hospital setting
- X-Ray unit with exposure to ED, inpatient, outpatient, OR, and portable imaging
- Rotating 5/2 split schedule (5 on, 2 off, 2 on, 5 off)
- Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM (3x11.5 or 4x11.5 hour shifts depending on rotation)
- Every other weekend required
- Float within scope to ED, inpatient, outpatient, OR, and portable imaging as needed
- GE and Siemens X-ray equipment used
- 13-week assignment
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist
- Extensive OR experience required, including O-Arm
- ARRT certification required
- Acute care hospital experience required; large volume hospital preferred
- License required if applicable — pending licenses not accepted
- Must be able to work night shifts and every other weekend
- Must reside more than 25 miles from the facility to qualify for this position
- Two professional references required for consideration
- PDF copies of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
Additional Information
- Perform X-ray imaging across a high-volume Level I trauma center, including OR cases with O-Arm, fluoroscopy, ED, inpatient, outpatient, and portable studies
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
- Travel pairs cannot be placed on the same schedule — no exceptions
- No time off during holiday weeks; RTO requests should be submitted as early as possible, preferably during the interview process
