Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Cardiac Surgical ICU (CSICU/CSU) night shift position in Tuscaloosa, AL, requiring at least 1 year of recent cardiac ICU experience and an active AL or compact RN license.

- Cardiac Surgical ICU (CSICU/CSU) setting within a hospital environment
- Night shift schedule: 19:00–07:00 (7p–7a)
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active AL or compact RN license required — no pending or temporary licenses accepted
- No hits on license (past or current)
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year of recent experience in cardiac surgical ICU or related specialty
- Current BLS certification required
- Documents required for consideration: current driver's license, license verification via NURSYS, and 2 professional references from within the last year
Additional Information
- Meditech EMR is used; prior experience is not required
- All ICU RNs are required to complete both an online pre-test and an on-site skills test
- No HealthStream modules required prior to start — competency-based modules are completed during virtual orientation
- Local candidates are welcome to apply with no radius restrictions
- Timekeeping is managed through Centricity
