Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Step-Down Unit position requiring night shift availability and a minimum of 1 year of experience.
Details
- Step-Down Unit in a hospital setting
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
- Patient ratio of 1:4
- Weekend availability required
Requirements
- Active RN license (State or Compact) currently in hand
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- Minimum 1 year of Step-Down or related nursing experience required
- Epic EMR experience preferred
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year before being eligible as a traveler
- No travel pairs or groups accepted
- RTO is limited to no more than 3 days and is not permitted during the first week of orientation
- 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
