Description
American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with 2+ years of experience for a night shift travel assignment at a critical access teaching hospital in Washington state.
Details
- Critical access teaching hospital setting with 25 staffed beds, no trauma designation
- Respiratory Therapy unit with potential float to a sister facility approximately 30 minutes away
- Patient ratio of 1:3
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Every other weekend required
- Block scheduling required
- No on-call required
- Charting via Epic (experience required)
- Scrubs of any color are acceptable
- No-cost parking on site
Requirements
- Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
- Washington state respiratory therapy license required prior to consideration
- Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapy experience
- Epic EMR experience required
- First-time travelers are eligible to apply
- Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- Travelers are expected to float between facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in assignment termination
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
- Minimal RTO is expected for this position; all RTO requests should be communicated upfront prior to submission
- All certifications listed must be current and included with your profile
