Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a PCU/Telemetry position in Ohio, requiring 2 years of experience, Epic proficiency, and the ability to pass a telemetry test.

Details

• Work in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) within an academic medical center setting
• Telemetry monitoring of patients is a core component of this role
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Epic EMR experience is required

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or a Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Experience monitoring telemetry patients required
• Must be able to pass a telemetry competency test
• Proficiency with Epic EMR required
• Skills required include IV insertion, medication administration, lab interpretation, patient monitoring, and patient education

Additional Information

• A 13-week contract (approximately)
• Parking permits are available for purchase through CampusParc at varying price points and access levels
• No break required between assignments when changing representation (except for Sterile Processing Techs, who require a 30-day break)
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years are required for consideration
• A full 7-year work history with all gaps explained is required for consideration
