Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room) position requiring at least 1 year of CVOR experience, on-call availability, and the ability to flex to General OR.
Details
- Operating Room (CVOR) in a regional hospital setting
- 10-hour day shifts, 4 days per week, 40 hours per week
- Must be willing and able to flex to the General OR based on business need
- On-call required during regularly scheduled shifts
- EMR: Epic (charting)
Requirements
- Active CO or compact RN license currently in hand (no pending licenses)
- Current AHA certifications required: BLS and ACLS ā must not expire prior to start date
- Minimum 1 year of CVOR experience required
- ASN from an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred
- DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
Additional Information
- Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for cardiovascular OR patients
- Performs delegated medical functions, executes therapy and treatment plans, and documents in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
- Refers patients as needed for further evaluation or treatment and consults with or delegates to other care team members as appropriate
- Previous permanent staff must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
- BSN is preferred but not required
