Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a high-acuity PACU position requiring Cerner proficiency, PALS certification, and a Maryland or compact RN license.
Details
- Hospital PACU setting with Phase I, Phase II recovery, and pre/post-op responsibilities
- Pediatric PACU experience involved in this role
- Evening/night rotation on a 4x10 schedule with shift times of 1300–2330 and 1900–0730
- Required to work 2 weekends per 6-week period
- On-call required, approximately 5–6 times per 6-week period during day/evening hours
- Float coverage to the ICU is required
- Cerner EMR experience is required
Requirements
- Active MD or compact RN license required
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of high-acuity PACU experience required
- Experience with Pediatric PACU, Phase I, Phase II, and pre/post-op recovery required
- ICU experience preferred
- Cerner EMR proficiency required
- Must pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum score of 80% overall and 100% on lethal rhythms
- Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required
- Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
