Description

American Traveler is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of experience for a 13-week outpatient/rehabilitation contract in Stockton, CA with an award-winning private practice.

• Patient care involves evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation programming across a range of physical therapy needs

Requirements

• Active CA PT license required (license required if applicable)
• Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience
• Degree in Physical Therapy required
• Proficiency with EMR systems for documentation, evaluations, reports, and discharge summaries
• Proficiency in ICD-10 coding and familiarity with PT billing procedures (Medicare, workers' comp, private, auto, liens, and cash pay)
• Computer proficiency required, including typing, Microsoft Word, and internet
• Ability to be physically mobile for 8-10 hour shifts, including stool sitting, walking, and prolonged standing
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs, assist with patient transfers, and provide mobility assistance

• Responsibilities include evaluating and treating patients, guiding and monitoring all aspects of patient care, and ensuring accurate chart documentation
• Position involves supervising PT Assistants and Aides
• Coordination with physicians, front office staff, and other team members is a regular part of the role
• Candidate must adhere to HIPAA policies and OSHA regulations
• Continuing education coursework is preferred
