Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Long-Term Care/Skilled Nursing Facility position working night shifts with a patient ratio of up to 1:12.

Details

• Long-term care (LTC) and skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting
• Patient ratio of 1:9 to 1:12
• Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:00)
• Weekend availability required
• Block scheduling is not available
• Epic EMR experience preferred but not required

Requirements

• Active SC or Compact RN license required prior to start date (pending license will be considered for candidates who can obtain it before starting)
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience preferred; candidates with 1 year of experience may be considered on a case-by-case basis
• Comfort and familiarity with LTC/SNF environments required
• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible
• 2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration

• A Cardiac Dysrhythmia Test is administered on the first day of orientation and must be passed on the first attempt
• The facility maintains an attendance policy for travelers; missing more than two shifts in a 13-week contract without reasonable explanation may result in contract review and potential cancellation
