Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with at least 2 years of experience for a night shift travel assignment in a hospital respiratory therapy department in Miami, FL.

Details

  • Hospital-based Respiratory Therapy department
  • Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
  • 13-week contract

Requirements

  • Active RRT license and certification required (license required if applicable)
  • Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in respiratory therapy
  • Must have active experience in the role within the last 6 months
  • ACLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted); certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start
  • BLS required
  • Two professional references required for this Florida position
  • US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
  • No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

  • Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible
  • First-time travelers may be considered provided all experience requirements are met

I worked in the Respiratory department. The Respiratory manager Alex was a fantastic woman. She does all the on boarding education and she’s your number one person to call for any clinical information scheduling information. She was fantastic.

They need to upgrade their RT equipment and their charting system
