Description

American Traveler is seeking an Occupational Therapist with lymphedema certification and 15–18 months of recent outpatient experience for a multidisciplinary outpatient rehabilitation setting in Cumming, Georgia.

Details

  • Outpatient rehabilitation services setting within a multidisciplinary department including physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech-language pathology
  • Specialty therapy services offered include CHT, wound care, lymphedema, vestibular, aquatics, sports, Parkinson's, MBS, and FEES studies
  • 10-hour day shifts, 8:00 AM–6:15 PM, Monday through Friday; hours may vary based on department needs
  • 13-week contract
  • No on-call requirement

Requirements

  • Current, active Occupational Therapist license (license required if applicable)
  • Minimum 15–18 months of recent experience within the OT specialty
  • Lymphedema certification required
  • Current AHA BLS certification required
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Current permanent address required

Additional Information

  • Local candidates are accepted for this position
  • Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates
  • Former permanent staff returning as travelers must have a minimum 2-year break before placement
  • Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed upfront and cannot be requested after an offer is made
  • AHA certification copies must be current and unexpired at time of consideration
  • EMR experience should be documented within work history
