Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring prior Level I Trauma ED experience and an active IL RN license.

Details

• Hospital emergency department setting
• Patient ratio of 1:4
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
• Every other weekend required
• Floating required
• Charting performed in Epic
• Block scheduling is not available

Requirements

• Active IL RN license required (no pending licenses accepted)
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS
• Preferred certifications: TNCC and CPI
• Minimum 1 year of ED nursing experience required
• Prior experience in an urban, Level I Trauma ED required
• Teaching hospital experience preferred
• Epic EMR experience preferred
