Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position requiring Level I Trauma experience and a valid IL RN license, with night shifts and every other weekend availability.

Details

• Emergency Department (ED) setting at a teaching hospital
• Patient ratio of 1:4
• Prior experience in an urban, Level I Trauma ED required; teaching hospital experience preferred
• Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
• Every other weekend required
• Floating required
• Block scheduling is not available
• Charting via Epic
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active IL RN license required — pending licenses are not accepted
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• Prior experience in an urban, Level I Trauma ED required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS
• Preferred certifications: TNCC and CPI
• Teaching hospital experience preferred
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
