Description

American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist with 2+ years of experience and required GE scanner proficiency for a night shift travel assignment at an acute care, Level III trauma hospital in Twin Falls, ID.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting, Level III trauma center, MRI unit
• 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, on a 7 on/7 off schedule
• On-call may be required and will be discussed prior to scheduling
• EMR: Epic (experience highly recommended)
• GE 450w scanner experience required; GE MRI experience is mandatory
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist
• ARRT (MRI) or ARMRIT certification required
• BLS certification (AHA) required
• High school diploma or GED required
• Epic EMR experience highly recommended
• GE 450w scanner experience required — candidates must be able to scan independently with minimal training
• Driver's license required for consideration
• 2 professional references required for consideration: one supervisor from within the last 12 months, and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, both including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Only 3–5 days of orientation/training will be provided; candidates must be fully proficient and able to scan independently from the start
• No blocked scheduling or special scheduling requests will be accepted
• Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates will not be considered
• Former permanent employees of the facility must have been away for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
