Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Tele/Med-Surg position at a Critical Access Hospital, requiring ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications and a minimum of 2 years of experience.

Details

• Acute care setting in a Critical Access Hospital (CAH)
• 23-bed Tele/Med-Surg unit
• Diverse patient population including medical cases (COPD exacerbation, renal failure, diabetes, CHF), surgical cases (cholecystectomy, appendectomy, bowel resections, fasciotomies, I&D, tonsillectomy), orthopedic cases (total knee, hip, and shoulder replacements), GYN cases (vaginal and abdominal hysterectomies), and pediatric patients
• Charting system: MEDITECH
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week
• Floating to the ICU may be required on an as-needed basis for overflow, only if the candidate has the relevant experience and competency

Requirements

• Active AZ RN license or a Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• BSN not required
