Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position at a Level 1 maternity unit in Ohio, requiring more than 3 years of OB experience and an active OH or compact RN license.

Details

• Acute care Labor & Delivery unit within a Level 1 maternity facility in Ohio
• Unit includes 4 L&D rooms and 6 postpartum rooms, averaging approximately 30 deliveries per month
• All staff are cross-trained across labor, mother/baby, newborn nursery, and postpartum
• Staffing follows AWHONN guidelines
• EMR system: TruBridge/Evident (also referred to as Centricity/CPSI)
• Night shift, three 12-hour shifts per week
• Every other weekend required
• No blocked shifts

Requirements

• Active OH or compact RN license required
• More than 3 years of OB/Labor & Delivery experience required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and Advanced Fetal Monitoring
• BSN not required

Additional Information

• Responsibilities span labor support, postpartum care, mother/baby, and newborn nursery due to cross-training expectations
• Orientation is 24 hours
• 13-week contract
