Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Cardiovascular OR/CVOR position at a busy surgical facility in Chicago, IL, requiring a minimum of 2 years of OR experience and Epic proficiency.
Details
- Works in a high-volume OR department performing open heart, orthopedic, and general surgical cases
- Day shift schedule: 06:45–15:15, five 8-hour shifts Monday–Friday
- Shift hours may extend depending on caseload
- On-call requirement: one night every two weeks and one weekend every six weeks
- Epic EMR is used and experience is required
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active IL RN license required
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (American Heart Association or Red Cross accepted)
- NIHSS and DCI/BVP certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of OR experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- DOB and SSN required for consideration
Additional Information
- Performs scrub and/or circulating duties across a broad range of surgical cases including open heart, orthopedic, and general surgery
