Description
American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with 2+ years of IR experience, including neuro intervention and trauma, for a 13-week contract position.
Details
- Interventional Radiology unit within an acute care hospital setting
- Procedures include stroke intervention, neuro intervention, cerebral thrombectomies, and embolizations
- 4x10-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- On-call requirement of approximately 8–10 days every 4 weeks, including 2 weekend shifts per on-call rotation
- Epic EMR experience required
- Local candidates within a 60-mile radius of the facility are considered
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Interventional Radiology experience
- Experience with stroke, neuro intervention, cerebral thrombectomies, and embolizations required
- Trauma experience required
- Active FL or compact state license required at time of consideration
- Current ARRT (Radiographer) certification required at time of consideration
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications through AHA required at time of consideration
- Proficiency with Epic EMR required
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- Candidates must provide proof of vaccination status; declinations are not accepted
- Candidates are required to complete a Basic Arrhythmia/EKG assessment as part of facility requirements for the IR unit
- If the initial arrhythmia assessment is not fully passed, a retake exam must be completed within 24 hours and passed with an overall Angoff score of 83% or greater, 100% on the lethal rhythm section, and 83% on all other sections
- A study guide and tips to prepare for the arrhythmia assessment are available through the facility's online orientation resources
- This is a smoke-free facility
