Description
American Traveler is hiring a Chemo-Certified Oncology RN for a Med/Surg Oncology Tele unit with required BMT experience and ONS certification for a 13-week night shift contract.
Details
- Located on a 7N Med/Surg Oncology Telemetry Progressive High unit
- Patient population includes hematologic oncology, oncology, bone marrow transplant (BMT), and med/surg diagnoses
- Uses Epic EMR; prior experience is required
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:30
- Every other weekend required
- Floating required to other care areas to cover MS and MS/Tele patients
Requirements
- Active RN license — MO license or Compact RN license currently in hand
- Current BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
- ONS Biotherapy or ONS Immunotherapy certification required
- BMT (bone marrow transplant) experience required
- Oncology and med/surg telemetry nursing experience required
- EKG exam required
- Epic EMR experience required
- 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
Additional Information
- Candidates must reside more than 70 miles from the facility to be eligible — local travelers are not accepted
- Provide telemetry and progressive care to a high-acuity oncology and BMT patient population
